Southern Utah Today, the paper Andy is producing requires him to go up to Cedar City sometimes. He only works a couple of hours up there. The girls have been working Saturday at the snack bar at WCCC...so I get to enjoy the Lake on the Hill all by myself!  Love it!  Very relaxing!

We are in monsoon season and many evenings we get storms that come in. Tonight the sky looked like the end of the world. There are fires in neighboring communities, wind, rain and sunset created these beautiful skies. 

 Katie is starting her 11th grade year at PVHS.  She is in the band - jazz, PIT, marching, regular, PEP...if there is something she is in it! She plays saxophone. She is taking two college classes at Dixie State University in St George on her lunch and one at the high school. She is also taking some honors classes.  She is super excited about school! In addition she works at the Washington City Community Center snack shack a couple days a week. She is trying to save for the Disney trip the band is taking in March. Katie also plays piano for seminary and trying to start a seminary choir. Holly is a 9th grader at PVMS and also doing band. Holly plays the trumpet. Holly always claims she isn't excited to go to school but every morning she is excited to get up and look pretty and head to school.  Both girls are in the HOPE squad which is a suicide prevention group. Aj is getting a new place on Aug 17!!! He found a 4B 3b condo with 2 car garage in Provo. He plans to have his friends Curtis & Paul rent from him in addition to 3 additional people. There will be a total of 6 guys living in the place. He has had to scramble to come up with enough money and contracts and start a business to collect the rents. He's learning lots! His appraisal came in low so he was able to get a break on the price so that was cool!!! Moving day is going to be a busy day since Aj is supposed to work all day! Plus he has to close on his condo, empty out his apartment -- which he has to be out of same day - Aug 17 - so no leeway!!! Plus they have to clean and exit the apartment and then set up their new place. They don't have furnishings so they have to find beds etc also!! Exciting and tiring!!!  And since he's emptying out his bank account he doesn't have a lot of money to get needed stuff! 1145 South 1410 East, Provo Back Patio ...
