The girls had the Dixie Round-up parade. Call time was 8 a.m. but the parade didn't start until 9 a.m. So I went for a nice walk around the temple grounds while I waited for the parade to start. The temple was closed for cleaning so it was extremely peaceful. I had the grounds to myself! Rare treat!
The young women planned and put on a baby shower for Kayla Johnson -- included were delightful baby diapers to smell and baby food to taste. It was a hit! And baby arrived September 16 just a few days later (and early for her due date!!!)
Southern Utah Today, the paper Andy is producing requires him to go up to Cedar City sometimes. He only works a couple of hours up there. The girls have been working Saturday at the snack bar at WCCC...so I get to enjoy the Lake on the Hill all by myself! Love it! Very relaxing!
We are in monsoon season and many evenings we get storms that come in. Tonight the sky looked like the end of the world. There are fires in neighboring communities, wind, rain and sunset created these beautiful skies.
