08/10/24 Zurich to Amsterdam to Las Vegas to home

We had an early wake up at 5 a.m. We were given some bagged breakfasts (which turns out were kinda horrible, but no big deal. We will end up having about 6 meals before we arrive home! haha) We took a bus to the airport and were all settle in by about 7 a.m. Our flight was supposed to be 9:20 a.m. -  11 a.m. The connector was 12:30 p.m. -- which SHOULD be enough time to switch ... but they worried us a little. Friday we went to the Rhine Falls...the largest waterfall in Europe. We did a one hour boat ride. Our boat driver charged the falls several times and maneuvered to get us up close and even a little wet! We stopped and visited the town of Schaffhausen - Alstadt. Another cobble creek street with fun shops and restaurants. We found a French bakery that served lunch and enjoyed some French delicacies.  We found a little grocery store (I serisouly saw very few grocery stores the whole time!!!) We found some soda for 1.25 FR -- so much less than the $3.5-$5 Euro we saw all week.  After visiting there we headed to Zurich and went to the Lindt & Sprungli chocolate shop. The museum has a nice self guided tour that you can listen to as much or as little as you want about the history of chocolate in Switzerland. And at the end of the tour
