Sister for Sale

Is there anyone who would like a girl to keep them company? Well, I know someone who would be up to the job.  She likes food, noise, and bright colors.  And the best part is she’s only twenty dollars!

Firstly, this girl can really eat, and I mean really eat.   You know those leftovers that have been sitting in the fridge for the last month, well; Holly can exterminate those in ten seconds flat.  Tired of old Halloween candy lying in a bowl?  She can cure that conundrum in no time at all.  See, food doesn’t need to go rotten anymore.  Those days are over.

Also, awkward silence is not a problem with my little “friend.”  That is mostly because there IS no silence.   Fatigued of silence and boredom?  Holly won’t let you down for entertainment during almost any time.  You will almost always have multiple questions to answer.  Don’t waste any more time sitting bored on the couch.  Call Soon!

Additionally, tired of boring beige, teal and a touch of salmon?  Holly can color up that problem quicker than you can say, “Put down that marker.”  All you need to do is buy some cheap makers and give them to Holly and she will turn your house into a masterpiece.   The best part is, if you get the right kind of markers, it may never come off.  So throw those salmon curtains down and make way for Holly!

Lastly, just give me a call at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you are interested in buying my sister.  She enjoys food, noise, and lots of color.  Once again, she’s only twenty dollars.

By the way, she comes as is, no warranty and absolutely NO REFUNDS!

It is fun to imagine life without a little sister sometimes. I believe I can get rid of my sister, I’ve been dreaming of it for almost 10 years now, I’m inspiring others to buy my sister.  All in fun, of course.

06/16/25-06/20/25 Yellowstone

We had a really great week on our Yellowstone trip. We stayed at a VRBO cabin in a remote cabin in Ashton, Idaho. It was just right for our group. We were able to go to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Mesa Falls, the Yellowstone Playhouse, Lava Hot Springs Pools and Slides.  We drove lots, played games, did puzzles, roasted hot dogs, made s'mores, enjoyed picnic lunches, ice cream at the frost top, dinners together made by each lil family and so much more.  Loved it! (There are lots more pictures in our shared Yellowstone google album. Also, these pictures are not in order of happening. )

06/14/25 Pre-Yellowstone

Last year for Christmas I purchased a vacation to Yellowstone for the kids and us. The dates for the Yellowstone cabin were June 16-June 20. We decided to break the trip up a little and drive up the weekend before and drive home the weekend after. Also, because Katie got married, and Dallas has limited time off, he was unable to take his family on the trip. We stayed at his house and got some twin time in before we continued north.  Aspen and John moved to Pennsylvania and are in Utah for the summer. On our way up north we stopped at Becky's house to see them and their sweet new baby.  Erik recently got a new job so he was also not able to join us on our trip. Holly became our little girl again and traveled with us.  Holly and Millie My dad's been in the care center so we stopped by to visit him. He's being well cared for. He is struggling to put sentences together. We came and went to church with him at the care center. He's been asking for a really good pizza. So we w...

10/10/95 Journal Entry - Still no house!!!! But feeling blessed

10/10/95 Still no house - maybe this week.  Haha. Money ran out of the last issue on the people right before us.  More money may come in at a lower rate.  We'll have to see. Dallas is really growing up in a hurry. He is crawling very well on his knees, standing up on things and moving while holding furniture.  He's been really fussy this past week.  Maybe a cold or teeth.  I don't know.  I held him on the coucn all night Saturday. he is really a mama's boy and cries when I leave or come in the room. AJ is also growing up fast.  He's so independent.  He knows what he wants and often gets it.  Saturday Gma and Gpa Griffin were leaving to go home and Aj said, "Where are you going?". Grandma says, "Home to Salt Lake City."  AJ says, "Ok, just a minute I'll get my shoes on!" He is a really good looking little boy.  I sure am lucky to have such a neat family. Andy's been busy training Dean Rock.  Last two weeks he do...
