03/14/19 Hyperbaric Chamber Oxygen Treatment

Hyperbaric Chamber Oxygen Treatment - Vibrant You - one of Andy's sponsors wanted Andy to come try a treatment before talking about it next week.

When we first arrived them put us on a vibration machine for 10 minutes. It is supposed to be like 1 hour of exercise in 10 minutes. It just shakes you like crazy. Gets your circulation going.

Then they had us go over to the chamber. It was like a little pup tent.

We both got inside the chamber together. They pressurized the container (our ears popped at the beginning and then end). We stayed in there for about 1 hour breathing pure oxygen. We had little red light patches we could put on our sore spots. We were able to talk and text and read or play games while we relaxed. They give you the oxygen mask to start with but you don't have to wear it the whole time.

Not sure if it really did much...we both slept really well that night -- almost like we had jet lag. Seems like we had good energy this week but don't know if it was due to the treatment or the fact that it was spring break and we were playing and having fun without kids!

St George Temple This morning I woke up early and continued to read "Your Endowment", a book Grandma Griffin gave me several years ago but that I never read cover to cover. It is of course, about the temple and the meaning behind the endowment and the other things we learn about in the temple. I'll be honest, a lot of it feels "over my head". I am seeking to learn and know and understand more but I don't have a thorough understanding at this time. Kathy and Steve Spring Yesterday I went to visit Kathy Spring. She worked at Washington City for many years and retired almost 3 years ago. We were good friends and she helped me in the court for quite awhile. 09/10/23 Hey, do you get to read letters on non-p day, p day?

First time trying a lime Pineapple was more pleasing than lime Well...we went to Provo on Saturday and Sunday -- so your letter is a little later on Sunday than usual...but then I got to thinking...will you even get to see this before Thursday anyway?! So hopefully you're not sad that I'm late and all is well in CHILE. It's a rainy sabbath here...which is weird cause we rarely get rain. But it is drizzly and rainy and our ride home was beautiful for 2 hours, raining for 1 1/2 hours, and then pretty good the rest of the way. Let's see...what happened this week...Monday was Labor Day...so we had a day off work. Yeah!!! We didn't have anywhere we needed to go and planned to have a quiet Monday but first, we went to this store called Sheridan's that is super close to our house. 10/06/24 Repairs, Funeral, Marathon, Retirement Party, Car Show, Murder Mystery, Dr Visits, Pets, Food & Church. O my!

Macy Bundy, Hudson Jones, Emily Francis It's been a wonderful, packed week with good stuff going on all around. Sunday during church I went to Andy's class for 1/2 of the second hour. The kids are nine and kind of a handful sometimes...but there was only three and they were pretty cute and fun. After Andy taught his class he went to Primary singing time and I went to the second half of a combined YW/YM class. We had Sunday dinner with Randy & Kay, AJ, GPA, and us. Eldon and Diane are on an Elderhostel trip and will be gone for a couple Sundays with other responsibilities. Andy smoked drumsticks and I made homemade bread and cookies (both new recipes). All of our dinner was SO GOOD!!!! Sometimes it just works, and this was one of those! YuM!
