11/24/09 Dance, college, morning show, computer crash

11/24/2009 letter to Becky

Things are also busy but good here.  Holly danced at the festival of trees last night (so cute!!).  I don't know if the pix came out but if they did I'll email you one.

She will have a recital here in a week or two.  Katie will also have a piano recital.  The boys just finished their Eagle Scout projects last month and Dallas is totally done, Bryce can't be done until February ish.

Aj's got a load of school going on -- he's carrying 17 credits, writing for the school paper, Service Club President, going to a student ward (how weird is that?!?) and working for the parks department and the radio station.   He was made Elder a week or two ago.   Don't see much of him.  Only know he is around cause he leaves his shoes out...which dRIVEs me CRaZy!!  (I usually return them to his pillow for him...fun games we play with each other, huh!?)

Andy is doing his morning show from 7-8 a.m. everyday.  So he is not so much a night owl as he used to be.  He says he really likes it.  He has to get up and leave the house by about 6:15 a.m.

I'm doing same old stuff with court being busy busy busy.  My computer crashed last week and I am now on a MAC.  I've been resisting but management made me go this way.  It's not so bad.  Just different.  Like learning stuff all over again.  I'm sure I'll be quick at it soon.  Already things are starting to come together for me.

We would love to see you.  I could probably take off that day.  I think it'll be the kids last day of school so they'll be out by 1:15.  The pool will be open.  We could even do a birthday cake for Holly and Katie.  They would love that!!!

Well I'll be in court until who knows what hour so I won't be calling you tonight.  But one day soon!!! Take care, love you lots! Shelly

11/05/09 Aj's becoming an Elder & writing for the Des News

11/5/2009 LETTER TO DAD LAURITO

Hey, how's it going?  Things are busy as always but good down here.  Aj is getting ordained an Elder on Sunday after stake conference.  You are welcome to come down for it if you'd like.

Also Aj has been writing for the Dixie Sun (the student paper at Dixie College) and the Deseret News picked up his article and published it.  Here is a link:

Cool, eh?
Andy has football playoff games this week but we were lucky they are in Hurricane and St. George.  So no traveling required this weekend.

Still coming down off the sugar from Halloweeen...the girls LOVED it.
Not much else to report.  Love you lots. Shelly
