For many years we've had kids in the honor band and this year was no different. Katie was selected to play third first alto in the honor band. They spend a full Friday and Saturday practicing with all the kids from the county and then they perform at the Dixie College Cox Auditorium for the parents. It was a great performance and Katie had a lot of fun preparing for it.
Afterward we went to Menchi's and had frozen yogurt. They have tons of toppings and they charge you by the weight of your concoction.
Katie prides herself in knowing all the lightweight stuff so she can get a more full looking desert for less money.
