07/02/19 Getting ready to change

Goodbye, Washington and Ali Lane Things have finally fallen into place. Last Monday, June 24, 2019 we closed on the sale of our current 587 S Ali Lane, Washington home. Originally we were supposed to close on June 18, which is when we actually signed all the documents. Then closing was supposed to happen June 21. Again didn't happen. And finally things actually worked on Monday the 24th. We closed on the purchase of our new home 1046 N 1700 on Wednesday, June 26. According to contracts we all had a couple of days to vacate and in theory we should have been in our new home June 29. Although in the true nature of the way this has gone from beginning to end that didn't work out! Thank goodness the people that bought our home purchased it as a rental. So they are just fine to charge us $75/day to stay here. Richard and Janis Wakefield are waiting to be able to get into the home they purchased in Sun River (not California as originally planned) and can't get in until Jul...

I was about to my breaking point and could not imagine adding one more thing.  A few days later the spot still wasn’t filled and I casually said I’d probably speak on Sunday if he really needed me to and I’m pretty sure he immediately stopped looking for anyone else. So I’m it! And I’m thankful for the opportunity to talk on ministering as the savior did.  I truly believe that our lives are improved far more than those we help when we minister. One example from my life of just this very blessing...Andy of course served a two year mission -- so he was doing his ...

06/10/19 Going away party

The Carnevale's invited the ward over for a going away party for us and the Hamer's. Both of our houses closing dates the week of June 20th. They will be leaving right away. We will be leaving July 6. They said they counted and about 140 people attended. What a great ward we live in. So many people we love here.
